Hi, my name is Panagiotis Peikidis (A.K.A. pek). Although I was born in New York, USA I have been living in Greece since the age of 9.

Currently I am studying Computer Science at City College (affiliated University of Shefield) and at the same time at the Department of Animal Production (don’t even ask).

My primary interest is computer programming. I have been developing from the age of 14 in many programming languages. But the one I am mostly comfortable is Java.

About a year ago I have been growing an interest in Game Programming and specifically in Game Artificial Intelligence. In fact, my dissertation subject is an implementation of Automated Planning in a video game.

Aside from programming I am interested in photography and cinematography, although each year I spend less time on these activities than I used to (and wish to). I am a huge fan of Woody Allen’s work (books included).

Other activities include loving Stand Up Comedy: Demetri Martin, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Patton Oswalt, Jeremy Hotz, Wanda Sykes, Mitch Hedberg and many many many more. Reading comic books: Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Blankets, Arkas, Ilias Kyriazis, Maus, The Sandman… And listening to music… Well, not that much. Some Jazz now and then. Maybe a soundtrack or two. It all depends on my mood.

Finally, my list of greatest achievements includes

• Driving a Ferrari
  I was one of the people who got picked in a draw held by Seven Video Clubs
• Watching a three hour silent movie filmed in 1915 called The Birth of a Nation
  It was for a essay and it took me 6 hours
